1. Download Rei's Minimap

http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/482147-162-jul08-reis-minimap-v34-01/ and locate your Minecraft folder,
On Pc search %appdata% a folder called roaming should appear go in there and find a folder called .minecraft, on Mac go to library then Application Support then minecraft.
2.unzip Rei's minimap then put the folder in the mods folder. open up Minecraft and if a minimap appears you have installed the mod successfully.
3. HAVE FUN!!!!
